Bike Koura (1 to 3): The noticeable success and impact of all four “Bike Tripoli” events contributed to its scaling beyond the city of Tripoli. As a result, Social Way “ Bike Tripoli “ organized three Koura Bikeathons for three consecutive years in 2015, 2016 and 2017. The events in Koura were promoted as “Koura Bike”. The first instance took place on the 4th of October 2015 in collaboration with the municipality of Amioun and “Koura Live”. It attracted almost 500 people who biked over a circuit of 8 kilometers starting at the municipality of Amioun and ending at Beshmezzine’s. After the first event proved to be a success, Social way launched “Koura Bike #2” with the collaboration of the Ministry of Social Affairs and under the slogan “My Childhood My Right” on the 9th of October 2016 with the participation of 700 people. Participants were spread across three categories including Professional (23 kilometers), Amateur (10 kilometers) and Family (5 kilometers). The most recent “Koura Bike” was held on the 29th of October 2017 under the slogan “Keep Koura Green” spanning across a distance of 22 kilometers.
